Sock it to homelessness. Organic Cotton.
These are a soft organic cotton pair of socks, made in Portugal. With every pair of socks sold, a pair is donated to a homeless charity.
Organic Cotton is better for the soil, the farmers and their families because of the damage that can be caused by fertilisers in conventional cotton production. These socks are made with GOTS certified organic cotton, an independent certification verifying the organic content of the fabric.
These socks are made in Portugal near Porto. Ed, Jollie's founder has personally visited the factory. The factory is certified by both GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and SA8000, two independent certifications which assess the factory against environmental and social criteria. We were pleased to read in the SA8000 audit that they pay workers nearly double the calculated Basic Need Wage.
Jollie's also supports charities tackling homelessness by giving a pair of hardy socks for every pair of socks purchased.
