THE ETHICS

The Brand Story

Wild Fawn was founded by Emma Barnes in January 2015. With a background in Anthropology and a love for making, Emma knew the importance of learning where her materials were sourced as well as what it takes to create timeless jewellery.

Emma is a registered Fairtrade gold user and uses recycled sterling silver. Each piece of jewellery is made by hand in Wild Fawn’s studio in London. Wild Fawn believe in quality over quantity creating enduring minimal designs wearable from one season to the next.

We were one of Wild Fawn’s first stockists, bringing them to store in March 2018. Since then we have watched the brand grow bringing on more staff as the sustainable fashion and jewellery movement continues to grow. Thank you for your support of us and them, the fashion industry is changing.

Recycled Sterling Silver

This piece was made using recycled silver. This avoids the negative impacts on the planet, people and cultures of mining silver.

Handmade in London

Each piece of jewellery is handmade in London by the Wild Fawn team. This ensures that there is no worker exploitation during the making of their jewellery in the studio.

Recyclable Packaging

Wild Fawn Jewellery’s packaging is either recycled or recyclable, helping to minimise waste.

Where Wild Fawn can improve?

Their silver chains and butterfly clips Wild Fawn use are currently not recycled. Wild Fawn informed us that it is not currently possible to buy certified recycled silver chains and butterfly clips.
