COVID-19: Found Hea Update
As you know, there’s been a lot of change over the last few weeks, so I wanted to give a quick store update.
In short, Found Hea is here to stay.
We have however had to close our physical store over the next few weeks. In the meantime, we've just finished a big online update so you can still access Found Hea at home. We're going to be going into store every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to process orders. We will be taking special care during COVID-19, only one person will be packing orders and they will be using hand sanitiser before and after packing. We're not sure how reliable the post will be due to the crisis, so we apologise in advance if you have to wait a little longer than usual for your order to arrive.
We're also aware that it is often the vulnerable who are most affected by crises like this one, and many garment workers are among the vulnerable in the world. We are donating 10% of sales from foundhea.com to International Justice Mission, the world's largest anti-slavery charity. They work to rescue and restore victims of forced labor. You can read about their rescue mission of eleven boys and young men freed from a shoe factory here. They're doing fantastic work.
The government and public response to this crisis has been excellent. The NHS are on overdrive. Neighbours are looking out for each other. Rishi Sunak is doing an incredible job in his first few weeks as chancellor. Delivery drivers are keeping our homes stocked and British humour our morale high. We’re doing well as a nation.
Thank you for your support always,
