THE ETHICS

The Brand Story

Kings was founded by Blué O’Connor in 2018. Formed out of Blué’s personal struggles with mental health, he quit his job, travelled the world and came back knowing he wanted to see social change. 


When Blué was back in the UK he changed his career and became a youth mentor. Meanwhile, he struggled to find any aftershaves that were ethically produced and cruelty free. Out of this, Kings was born. A grooming business with a mission, creating cruelty free, vegan aftershave in the UK, whilst reinvesting a percentage of profits into men’s mental health projects. 


Kings has also co-launched the social enterprise Talk Club, an initiative aiming to normalise conversations about men’s mental health. They’re changing the world around them and as a consequence many men’s lives are being positively impacted.

Made in Britain and Vegan

The scent is made in Britain, it is registered Vegan and Cruelty Free, contains no palm oil or parabens and contains natural essential oils.

Supporting Men's Mental Health Projects

Kings is a Bristol based vegan brand on a mission to “empower men to live happier and healthier lives”. They do this through funding men’s mental health projects and through their social enterprise Talk Club which provides a space for men to listen to each other and support each other in their mental fitness. Talk Club is growing fast and has been set up in locations around the world.

Where Kings can improve?

Currently Kings aftershave bottles have plastic lids, however they are working to find an alternative for these and are exploring whether they could create a re-fillable option.
